‘Petticoat Rebellion - The Anna Parnell Story’ was selected for Great Irish Book Week in 2009, a special promotion of thirty top titles from Irish publishers.
Senator David Norris, television presenter Kathryn Thomas, author Anna McPartlin and The Arts Council’s Sarah Bannon launched the first Great Irish Book Week at the National Library of Ireland on Thursday 1st October.
A FREE 288-page sampler of extracts from all the books was included with every purchase in your local bookshop around that time, called ‘Be Inspired - Great Irish Book Week 24th - 31st October 2009 - Gems from Irish Publishing - Extracts from 30 Great Irish Books’.
